What is Hi Life Residents Association?
Hi Life Residents Association is the registered body that professionally governs Hi Life Estate. It is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious, and multi-racial association committed to maintaining a serene, secure, and well-managed residential community for all residents.
Who is considered a Resident of Hi Life Estate?
A Resident is any individual who lawfully occupies a dwelling unit in the Estate, including owner-occupiers, tenants with valid lease agreements, licensees, and authorized family members or dependents, as defined in Article 1 of the Constitution.
What are the quiet hours in the Estate?
Quiet Hours are in effect 24/7 throughout the Estate. Residents are entitled to a serene and peaceful environment at all times. Social gatherings with special permits must end by 10:00 PM.
Are pets allowed in Hi Life Estate?
No. Pets are not allowed within the Estate. This rule helps maintain the clean and serene environment we all enjoy.
Is commercial activity permitted in the Estate?
No. Hi Life Estate is strictly a residential estate. Commercial activities such as hotels, restaurants, shops, mechanic workshops, short-let apartments, churches, or film making are prohibited. Violations attract a fine.
How do I pay my monthly levies and dues?
All levies and dues can be paid through the official Estate payment platform or via bank transfer to the Association’s designated accounts.
How often are General Meetings held?
Monthly General Meetings are held on the last Saturday of every month. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held once a year, usually in July. All residents are encouraged to attend.
What should I do if I have a complaint or security issue?
All complaints, security concerns, or service requests should be formally submitted through the Secretary General or via the official communication channels (email, WhatsApp, or the future resident portal). Emergency security issues should be reported immediately to the Estate Security Team.
How can new residents get a copy of the Constitution?
The Secretary General is required to furnish every new resident or landlord with a complete copy of the Constitution. Landlords receive theirs within 7 days of title transfer, while tenants receive theirs within 3 days of tenancy registration.
How can I get involved or contribute to the Estate?
You can get involved by joining any of the Committees (Security, Works, Power, Social & Welfare, etc.), attending General Meetings, or volunteering for community initiatives. Kindly express your interest to the Secretary General or any Executive Council member.
